The free initial assessment is a 30-minute online appointment. We look at the decision or concern, the relevant documents, any urgent deadline and the options that may be available.

Most situations use an intake form before booking. For another education issue, briefly describe it when booking. Keep any decision letter and approaching deadline to hand.
During the clinic
We will ask questions, identify the main issues and discuss possible next steps. The appointment is an initial assessment, not a promise of representation or ongoing casework. Any further work is considered separately.
Who joins the conversation?
The parent, carer or appropriate adult who books meets with a Campus & Legal adviser. A young person or support person may be included where appropriate; let us know before the appointment if that would help. Partner representatives attend only when arranged with you.
